The winter images of the Greek countryside are not so wellknown. In winter, most of us are confined to the safety of our homes, because it’s cold and because it gets dark very early. But it’s already 1st of January.

We are just a breath away from the coldest time of the year, but fifteen days have passed since the winter solstice and every next day is a little bit longer than the day before. We have already started looking ahead to summer.
