What is the time? Ask the sun…

All we have to do is stand on the squqre with the initials of the month we are in and our shadow will “show” the time. In other words, we become… the “guide” of the clock. How are we sure that the time is correct? Just like with any modern clock. We trust the manufacturer.

The sundial is the oldest timekeeping device. It was invented by the Chaldeans and dates back to around 1700 BC. This type of sundial is called “Analemic”. The hours are placed on the floor, on the circumference of an ellipse. The major axis of the ellipse is oriented in the East-West direction, while the minor axis is oriented in the North-South direction.
